SUMMARY AND FORECAST. j By Telegraph*—Vmsg Aasoviafeioa. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Government Meteorologist's weather summary and forecast: —The weather has been unsettled and showery in parts, especially on the west coast and in the southernmost districts of the South Island. Moderate westerly winds, changing to light southerlies, have prevailed. The barometer has risen in the northern districts, but has been unsettled .elsewhere. Present ■indications are for a rising barometer everywhere, with moderate to strong southerly winds. Cold and changeable conditions will probably precede a spell of fair weather everywhere.
