ELECTORAL CENSUS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Wellington, Saturday. Work in connection with the electoral census which will he taken on July i) will he. commenced on Mondav next, when enrolment forms will 'he distributed to householders. This is the first occasion on which an electoral census has been held in tin; Dominion. It does away with the objectionable feature of canvassing for names for enrolment. DECEASED ESTATES. ALLEGED LIBEL. .Masterton, Saturday Night. The Wairarapa Age Company has been served with a writ claiming £5Ol damages for alleged libel by one J. J. Kclliher, law clerk. The libel is alleged to have beon contained in a report of the meeting of the no-license party held last evening.
