A ROYAL ENTERTAINMENT. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. Received 3,' 1.25 a.m. London, July 1. The King spent £30,000 on the children's fete. The organisation was remarkable. Ninety-six trains from 56 stations were used, and a thousand children were entrained every eight minutes. The whole were divided into nine sections, identifiable by special colored caps and scarves. Every side-show was free. Ten thousand saw "Wild Australia," 24,000 "The All-Red Route," 50,000 were entertained in the Imperial marquee, and 30,000 in the 'treat pavilion.
