In the Assembly the Opposition is adopting blocking tactics,'.and it was after midnight before the- Arbitration Bill debate was resumed, Mr. Wade then asked that it ,V< allowed to stand over till Tuesday. The Minister declined. Mr. Storey (angrily): Then it is war to the knife. The debate is proceeding. THE ARBITRATION BILL. Received 30, 8.15 p.m. Sydney, June 30. After a continuous sitting of 35 hours the Legislative Assembly, at 5 o'clock to-night, carried the second reading of the Arbitration Bill by 30 votes to 36. LIBERAL PARTY REFORM. Received 1, 1-2.25 a.m. Melbourne, June 30. At the annual conference of the Liberal Reform Association Mr. Wade declared the Liberals were -thoroughly organised and ready for the new ParHsrmentary campaign. There was no ,room for a third party in the State. Those who were not with the Liberals were against them.
