HUNTING
NORTH TARANAKI CLUB. The very rough nnd boisterous weather preTniling ycsicrday affected the attendance at tlie 1. int. The members murtend on Mr. Will Honeyficld's properly at Oakurn, and hunted over tvpical 'Minting country. Some excellent f«r ng wih shown, and the hounds worked veil, securing three kills. Mr. B. Char . deputy-master, was in charge of the l.niit, and Air. A. Cliff, the huntsman, Iml the hounds under perfect control. Mr. and Mrs. Honeyfield had gone to great trouhle in preparing for the entertainment of a hundred guests, and the members of the hunt were treated right royally. Mr. Chancy, on behalf of the gathering, tendered the thanks of all partakers and of the hunt generally for the kindness and hospitality extended by Mr. and Mrs. Honeyfield, for whom hearty cheers were' given.
