ALLEGED ARSON
WITNESS AT INQUIRY ARRESTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson. Last Night. An inquiry into the circumstances surrounding a fire which destroyed the stables of Y. Haase on July sth, together with four horses and a valuable carriage plant, was concluded tp'day, when the Coroner returned a verdict that the sta'hles were intentionally set on fire, hut that there was 110 evidence to indicate by whom. At the conclusion of the inquiry, i Percy, Collier, one of the witnesses, and a former employee of Haase, was arrested on a charge of arson. He was remanded on bail until Wednesday next.
