A deputation from the recent Methodist Conference waited on Lord Islington today and presentod two congratulatory addresses, one for transmission to the King, and the other to his Excellency. A BANKRUPT ARRESTED. Gisborne, Wednesday. James Murdock, a bankrupt, was arrested on a warrant at Dunedin, and brought before the registrar of the Supreme Court to-day. He was ordered ,to provide sureties that he would attend the meeting of creditors.
