•«r 1 — • COURT PRIDE OF NEW PLYMOUTH. The half-yearly meeting of the above court was held on Monday evening, there being a fair muster of members present. The District Chief Ranger, Bro. C. H. Weston, and D.T., Bro. H. R. Cattley, were present. The following officers for the present term were duly installed:—C.R., Sister Kivell; S.C.R., Sister Kibbv; S.W.. Sister Glccson; J.W., Sister Freethy; 5.8., Sister Reilly; J. 8., Sister Tunbridge; secretary. Sister M. A. Furlong (re-elected); treasurer, Sister E. Russell auditor, Sister L. Tunlbridge (re-elected); delegate, Sister Lobb, to attend next district meeting to be held at Waitara on the second Tuesday in August. The court was highly complimented by the district officers on its heavy membership (135) and its strong financial position. The ' funds of the court totalled over £656. During th» evening several business matters connected with the working of the court were carefully considered and successfully carried through, and everything points to this being one of the strongest female courts in the North Island.
