MERGING OF RAILWAYS. New York, June 25. The United States circuit court at St. Louis dismissed the Government's petition seeking to restrain the Union Pacific Railway Company from controlling the Southern Pacific line. The court by & majority decided that the merger did not amount to a direct restraint of trade.,
