Wellington, Last Wight, j Following is the Government Meteorologist's weather summary and forecast: Barometric pressure has risen steadily everywhere. The weather has been cold and changeable, with heavy showers in parts, and hard frosts inland at night. Moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for strong easterly winds, northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and variable winds elsewhere. Cold and changeable weather probably generally,, showers in in parts, especially in the northernmost districts. The barometric pressure is unsteady, especially in the northern districts, where a temporary fall is expected.
