SUICIDES DETERMINED ACT. By Megmpk.—Preiw AMOclation. Wanganui, Saturday. The mystery attaching to the disappearance of J. M. Gibbona, tutor A. Sutherland (Fordell), has been cleared , up iby a tragic discovery by the police. '< Some distance ;uvay from tile house i, they came upon a qiuptuy of smoldering wood, .which proved to have bocn a , funeral pyre, for in the ashes were founA the skeleton of the man and the remains of a razor. In the note which the deceased left in the house he had intimated nis intention of committing suicide, indicated he would .set fire to a stack ot manuka, throw himself on it, and cut his throat. He also left details stating which artery lie wouid sever. The deceased added an apologr to the owner of the manuka for destroying hia wood stack, which contained several oords.
