The Corinna arrived on Saturday from southern ports with 403 tons of cargo, including 1032 sacks of potatoes, 317 sacks, 264 hundreds, and 610 fifties of flour, 386 sacks of oats, 25!) sacks of i pollard, 280 sacks of chaff, KiE) sicks of wheat, and 82 sacks of seed. After discharging the vessel proceeded to Onehunga, whence she leaves to-day for Wellington. A real "live" cargo was taken from Wellington on Friday by the Wanaka. which included 2580 stud sheep and I ft) horses. The sheep, winch were shipped at \Vellington, were said to be valued at £9OOO. The cargo is said to be the largest "live" one that has gone to Australia from New Zealand. Messrs Rarnagc and Ferguson, of Leith,. launched in April launched the largest screw steel steamer constructed at the port of Leith for many years. The steamer has been built to the order of the Union Company, and in intended for the coastal service. The vessel has been named the Kanna and has a gross tonnage of 2000 tons.
