TARANAKI IRONSAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waitara, Last Night. The treatment of ironsand on Waitara foreshore is creating considerable interest. Messrs. Curtis (who are connected with American capitalists) have had terms placed (before them giving them a right to work the sand from the beach, the main point of which is that Od per ton royalty must be paid on the manufactured article, with 100 per cent, extra if the sand is removed more than four miles away from the beach.
