Much secrecy has been observed in connection with negotiations which have been going on for some time with a view to getting the next English eleven to Australia to visit New Zealand (says the Dominion). It is, however, understood that these negotiations have taken definite shape. The arrangement, which has for some umncntioncd reason been arrived at in camera, is that the next English team to Australia is (during the coming summer) to visit New Zealand in the interval between the third and fourth test matches, and play four matches here, and possibly a test match. What arrangements have been entered into by other associations have not yet been mentioned, but it is understood that the Wellington Association have agreed to guarantee £250, which sum, however, may be slightly reduced if a test match is played.
