A Dance. The members of the Taranaki Hockey Association hold a most enjoyable dan«« in the Brougham Street Hall last Thursday evenir •, a fitting finale to the hockey tournament (in which about sixteen teams competed) held during the afternoon. Although the rainfall was very heavy during the day, in the evening it somewhat lulled, ao the majority of the invited guests were able to attend. Tho supper table was prettily decorated with red, white and blue flowers, and excellent music was rendered by Mrs. Wood's orchestra. At midnight everybody arose and, with great earnestness, sang the Xational Anthem.
