In,the Galacia election riots eighteen were killed and 75 Bent to the Hospital, of whom eight axe fatally wounded. The riots arose out of "Zionist" agitators spreading rumors of forged popeiß, this causing excitement among the Jewß. The military were insufficient, and warned the mob before firing. Similar riots occurred in three other towns in Galacia,
