ANNUAL MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmcrston North, Last Night. Forty-nine co-operative companies and seven exporters were represented at the annual meeting of the National Dairy Association to-day. Fifty pounds was voted to the president, and £2O to each director. The question of home separation was discussed at sonic length, Imt it was finally decided to leave the matter over till next annual meeting. Mr. Cuddie's suggestion re raising the standard by adopting a fourth graoe and putting "choicest" on butter grading over IH, was approved. The meeting affirmed the principle of the suggestion, hut fcft the points of the new grade to he fixed later.
This afternoon the following directors were elected:—For Taranaki: Messrs. A. Morton (Mangorei), H. Forsyth (Eltliam), J. ]5. Murdoch (Joil's)'. For Auckland: A. C. Hubbard (Thames Valley) and T. Rnssett (Northern Wairoa). It was resolved to provide £4OOO to cover the indenting of manures, Hairy appliances, etc., for members. Each factory to put in a promissory note of £lO for every 100 tons of biitter, and £6 for every 100 tons of cheese.
