THE CORONATION TOURNAMENT. At a meeting of the tournament committee held last night arrangement]* were completed for a very successful tournament on Thursday afternoon at the Recreation Sports Ground, and given fine weather the public should be treated to some splendid hockey. Reports have reached the committee that the various entrants are in hard training. The Taranaki Garrison Band has been engaged, and will render a lengthy programme of specially selected music. Afternoon tea will be obtainable on the ground. A very energetic committee is to look after the day's arrangements, and the result of the tournament should give hockey a considerable impetus in Taranaki.
