THEFT OF MOTOR CAR.

BURNIIAM BOYS BEFORE THE COURT. By Telegraph,—Press Association Christchurch, Monday. At the Magistrate's Court this morning three absconders from Burnham were charged with the theft of a motorcar valued at £550. The police reported that the lads were frequent absconders. The magistrate thought the lads should not be sent back to the industrial school, and for absconding considered each should be sent for twelve months for reformatory treatment, but in view of the motor-car charge he would postpone sentence. Accused were remanded.
