CHINESE MUTINY.
AN OFFICER ASSAULTED. By Cable—Press Association— Perth, June 19. The steamer Skerriss has arrived from Durban. The captain reports that the Chinese crew mutinied and assaulted the third engineer. He put in at the Mauritius. where the mutineers were sentenced to six weeks' imprisonment, and a new crew was obtained.
