TECHNICAL EDUCATION.
ADDRESS BY SIR JOSEPH WARD. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, June IS. Sir Joseph Ward, at a meeting of British and colonial technical students at the Festival of Empire, congratulated the organisation on having 100,000 students throughout the world. He would follow the example of the Australian Postmaster and urge officials of the department to join the organisation. The Imperial Conference would be glad to receive assistance in any movement similar to this in assisting the dissemination of Imperial ideas. While probably not agreeing with the details, he hoped the leaders of the organisation would impress on correspondents the all-important, consideration of watching developments in other countries which, like Britain, had world-wide navies for the, protection of various parts of the Empire.
