SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—lVe#a Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following 19 the Government Meteorologist's weather summary and forecast: —Sunday morning was very cold everywhere, but a decrease in the barometric pressure has taken place since, with increasing humidity everywhere. Rain has fallen to-day northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and on the west coast and Southern districts of the South Island. ' Present vindications are .ior the development. of a storm area to the northwestward of New Zealand, which will probably affect the North Island shortly. Strong northerly and westerly winds are probable everjlwhere, increasing cloudiness preceding rain in most parts of the country and a falling barometer everywhere, but unsteady in southern districts.
