Though the route is short, it. is expected there will be two million spectators. CORONATION SERVICES. By Telegranh.—Press Association Christclmrch, Last Night. In some of the churches to-day references were made to the Coronation, and the services concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. SMOOTH WATER REACHED. Dunedin, Saturday. Smooth water has been reached respecting Coronation Dav. The local Labor Office intimates that misconception has been removed, with the result that all trades and industries will now observe Thursday and take part in the celebrations. The Labor Department has no idea of prosecution if a breach of the award happens through non-observance of Friday a.s a holiday by certain trades.
