SWEET SCONES. Rub two tablespoonfuls of butter finely into oile pound of sifted flour, add one tablespoonful of sugar, a quarter of a teaspoonful of salt, one teaspoonful of carbonate of soda, and two teaspoonfuls of cream of tartar.
