IMPUDENT THEFTS. " By Telegraph.—Preaa Association. Cnristchurch, Wednesday. An impudent theft was committed last night in Sydenham, the victim being Dr. W. F. Browne. At 11 o'clock last night Dr. Browne placed his motor-car in hia garage, waich is situated close to his house, and on going there at 7.30 this morning lie found tliat the car waa missing. The car is a two-seated Clement Bayard. A strange report in connection with the theft of the oar and the trotter Prineo Warbeok gained currency in town to-day. It is alleged that the person who is supposed to have stolen tne horse from Yaldhurst on Monday evening rode it into town, and last night neglected Hia stolen steed tor a better means of travel, and is alleged to have taken Dr. Browne's car from Sydenham. It is stated that the trotter will be restored to its owner to-day, as its whereabouts becamejknown to the police this afternon. Later. Dr! Browne's motor-car lias been found at Bankside, near Rakaia, and the trotter, Prince Warbeck, has been found in Sydenham. ,
