ATTITUDE OF PEACE COXGKESS. By Cable—Press Association—<sopj>right, Received 15, 9.15 p.m. London, June 15. At the National Peace Congress at Edinburgh Mr. Kier Hardie moved a resolution to tho effect that in the event of threatened war, international workers jointly strike. There being considerable difference of opinion in the congress on the question, Mr. Hardie withdrew the resolution on the understanding that it would he discussed at next conference.
Sir Edward Grey (Minister for Foreign Affairs) sent a letter wishing the congress all success.
