CAMBRIDGE AXD MR. FISIIER. By cable. —Press Association.—Copyrislit London, dune 14. The Public Orator at Cambridge University, in a laudatory Latin speech at the conferring of the Doctorate of Laws on Sir Joseph Ward, Mr. Botha, and Sir Edward Morris, mentioned that it bad been intended to confer degrees on others, who were .absent, including Lord Grey, who was in Canada, and Lord Roth.schild, who was ill. while Mr. Fisher had declined an honor which the University desired to pay Australia no less than himself.
