The House of Commons, by a division of 156 to 80, 6ent St. Paul's Bridge Bill back to the committee because the plan did not give a direct vista to St. Paul's Cathedral. The Corporation of London is unfavorable to the scheme of placing the bridge further westward on the ground that it would cost 10 to 20 per cent, more.
