Nt the County Chambers, Kobe htreet, New Plymouth, to make 1 :ind levy. under the provisions of Sections 117. 118 and 11!) "Counties Act, IMS." Section 4S "Rating Act. 1908," Section 3 "Ratin? Amendment Act, 1910," and Section 41 "Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909," General and Hospital Rates within each of the Ridings of the County of Tnr.in.iki as particularised hereunder: MOA RIDING.—A General Rate of three-farthings in the pound, and n Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of n penny in the pound. WAITARA RIDING.-—A General Rate of three-farthings in the pound over the areas of Waitara West nnd Henui Road Districts;. A General Rate of six farthings in the pound over the outlying district (recently tinder the jurisdiction of the Egmont Road Board), and a Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound over the whole of the Riding. OMATA RIDING.—A General Rate of five fartfiinfiß in the pound, and b Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound. OKATO RIDING.—A General Rate of three farthings in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound. nURWORTH RIDING. A General Rate of three farthings in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of o lie-twelfth of a penny in the pound. Such rates to l>e calculated on the Capita] Value of all rateable property within the County of Tarana'ki, and to be for the period commencing on the first day of April. 1911, and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1912, nnd to be payable in one instalment at the Office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe street, New Plymouth, on the fourth day of September, 1911, where the Rate Books, containing particulars of the above rates, may be inspected during office hours.
