Owing to the heavy gale blowing on Monday, the Rarawa was an hour late in leaving Onchunga, and she did not arrive here until 7.45 a.m. yesterday, thus failing to connect with the mail train for the south. THE OORINNA. ■_ The Corinna, from Onehunga, arrived at 10 a.m. yesterday, and landed 152 packages of explosives for the New Plymouth Harbor Hoard. At 1 p.m. she left for Wellington and South Island ports, ■taJring 100 tons of cargo, including 13G crates of cheese and 111 bags meat for; transhipment to the Morayshire for West of England ports, and about 700 boxes of butter for ''local" consumption.

The Patca Shipping Company's s.s. Kapiti arrived in Waitara on Saturday morning with a general cargo. The wet. weather prevented her discharging until Monday. The vessel's outward cargo was —3OO hindquarters, 444 forequarters, and £15:2 quarters beef, for transhipment at Wellington to the Morayshire for Liverpool and Glasgow.
