REPORTED ARREST. By Telegraph— Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night, It is reported that extensive misappropriations of funds have been it»covered on the part of certain members of the office staff of the local branch of the Public Trust Office. One clerk has been arrested at Duncdin as he was oil the point of leaving New Zealand, and other arrests arc expected locally. CLERK IN CUSTODY. Dunedin, Last Night. A young man named Alexander Williams Ironside, wa« arrested here lust night on a charge of embezzling £7OO belonging to the Public Trust Office. Christchurch, where he had beet employed.
