PAPKE v. SULLIVAN. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright London, June 8. Papke beat Jim Sullivan in the tenth round. , ~ ji,m Received 9, 9.30 p.m. London, June 9. Sullivan outpointed Papke until he was knocked out. The New Plymouth Coxing Association has received a telegram from Mr. J. H. Trudgeon, of the Nor .hern Boxing Association, Auckland, stating that A. Crane (who had been selected to meet A. C. Maxwell in a six-round contest at next Thursday's tournament) is ill, and that he has arranged with G. Olsen, of Auckland, to fill Crane's place. Olsen is 2lb. over the light-weight limit, but Maxwell has agreed to meet him. The contest should be a very good one, as both are clever boxers.
