THREE DAYS' SERVICE REFUSED.

By Telgraph.— Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At a meeting of tlie council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce this afternoon, the question of the acceleration of the steam service between Auckland and Sydney was again discussed, and a reply was received from the Union Company stating tlmt the request for a three days' service could not be acceded to. After discussion, it was decided to again write to the company asking for a more expeditious service approximating three and a-half days.
