L. A. NOLAN AND CO.'S REPORT. L. A. Nolan and Co. report for the week ending June 7 as follows: Poultry.—On Saturday we had a very large entry of all classes, every pen being filled. We quote: Hens, ordinary Is 3d to Is 9d, fat do. Is 8d to 2s 3d; 'pullets, ordinary Is lOd to 2s sd; cockerels Is 8d to 2s'4d; ducks, Is 9d to 2s Id; geese, 2s 8d to 3s 6d; guinea fowls, 4s 9d per pair. In the mart a large catalogue of furniture and plants sold well. Fruit.—The market has been very firm during the jiast week. Nelson apples met a good market. We quote: Apples, Northern Spy its to 9s 6d, Sturmei-s 8s to 0s Od, Cambridge pippin (is 6d to 7s lid; oranges, 9s to lis Gd; bananas, ripe, 2y 4 (l per lb.; passions, Gs 6d; lemons, lis fld, small cases Os Od; chestnuts, 2»/ 4 il to 2'/od per lb, ■ ( 1 WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT.

Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday we had an extra heavy entry of poultry, over 400 birds being penned. Laying pullets, ducks, and table cockerels were in good demand. Prices wore aa follows: Pullets, special brown Leghorns Ids each, others 3s to 4s; hens, old Is 3d to Is (id, young Is 3d to 2s; ducks, laying 2s to 2s !kl, drakes Is Bd to 2s; trio brown Orpingtons, I Oh; cockerels, Is 9d to 8s; Muscovy ducks, 2s; pure brown Leghorn cockerel. £1; chicks, 3d to fld; bantams, Oil to !)d; turkey hens, 3s; gobblers, 3s 4d. Sundries.—At the mart a large quantity was disposed of at satisfactory prices. Mr. ffunson's bikes were disposed of at prices slightly in favor of buyers. Furniture.—On Tuesday we held an unreserved sale of furniture on account of Mrs. O'Driscoll. Prices realised were satisfactory. Fruit.—During the week fruit has been in short supply. • The fresh shipment of Island oranges and bananas arrived today.
