FIRES.
OUTBREAK IN PALMERSTON NORTH. By Telegraph Press Association. Pahnerston N., Last Night. A lire occurred at about G. 22 p.m. this evening at Scott, Niven and C'o.'s foundry in Oliuroh street. The fire started in the foreman's workshop office, and spread to the main building, but was extinguished by the brigade after slight damage had been done to the building and contents.
