EXTENSION OP TRADE URGED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, June G. Mr. Batehelor, Commonwealth Minister for External Affairs, in a speech at the opening of the Australian pavilion at the Roubaix Exhibition, urged the extension of trade between Australia and France, particularly the trade in meat. Paris. June 6. Mr. Batehelor had an enthusiastic reception at Roubaix. He stated that France took one-third of the Australian wool, and that they would find the meat as good as the wool.
