RUSSIAN STEAMER LOST.
PASSENGERS SAVED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Tokio, June 5. The steamer Ryazan, of the Russian volunteer fleet, struck a rock near Nagasaki. The mails were saved, also the passengers, who included the Crown Prince of Siam. A TOTAL WRECK. Received 7, 1 a.m. Tokio, June fi. The Ryazan is a total wreck. The cargo of tea, insured for £IOO,OOO, was lost.
