The results were as follows: Maiden Steeplechase, two and a half miles.—Okaihau 1, Hunakaha 2, Pleiades 3. Also started: Reservoir, Wbatashot, Connecticut, Bachelor, Riro-atu, Bonnie Jean, Romp, and Castout. Won by foui lengths. Jervois Handicap, five furlongs.— ; Goodwin Sands 1, Lady Betty 2, Bogey 3. DUNEDIN WINTER MEETING. SECOND DAY. Dunedin, Last Night. For the second day of the Dunedin Jockey Club's Winter meeting fine weather was experienced. There was a large attendance, and the course was in capital order. The investments for the second day were £14,661, as against £7025 10s for the second day last year. The total isvestments for the two days last year was £17,703, and for this year ,C 23,004 10s. Results:
