IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT
VOTE OF CENSURE PROPOSED. By Cable—Press Association —Copvripht, London, June 2. In the House of Commons, Mr. J. Butcher gave notice of a resolution that Mr. Churchill's reference to the judges was unworthy of the Home Secretary, and deserved the strongest censure. THE INSURANCE BILL. London, June 2. Mr. Lloyd-George attended a special meeting of the British Medical Association. Tlie doctors demanded to be entirely freed from friendly societies in connection with the Insurance Bill. Mr. Lloyd-George was favorable to the proposal, and suggested that they should lie under the local committee, but disagreed with the proposal that all persons earning more than forty shillings a week should be excluded from the scope of the Bill. Mr. Lloyd-George agreed that an insured patient should have free choice of doctors, and did not object to safeguards against the choice of a doctor who encouraged malingering.
Mr. Balfour, in the House of Commons, offered facilities to a=sist the Government in amending and carrying the Insurance Bill. THE HOUSE ADJOURNED. London, June 2. The House of Commons has adjourned to June 13.
