Conductor John Fothergill fell to-day from a car in motion on the Burwood line, and was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state. OLD MAN DROWNED. ' Hokitika, Last Night. This morning Charles Cox, an old age pensioner, a resident of Grenstone for many years, was seen to walk into the Teremakau river, near Kumara, and was drowned.
