"THE PRIXCE AND THE BEGGARMAID." : To-night, at the Theatre Royal, William Anderson will present the distinguished actor, IT. R. Roberts, and Beatrice Day, supported by a company of talented artists, in Walter Howard's romantic play, "Tho Prince and the Beggar-Maid." The piece is one which unquestionably enhanced Mr. Howard's reputation as a playwright after its successful run at the Lyceum Theatre, London. The story upon which it is based is of the romantic type, and is concerned chiefly with the doings of prominent personages in two imaginary principalities known as Sylvama and Illyria. The piece is said to be striking original, and the plot is worked out in such a way as to give a pleasing impression of freshness, and event follows event so consistently that the interest of the audience is maintained at its keenest throughout. A feature of the production will be the gorgeous costumes and magnificent studies. The box plan is at Collier's, where seats may be reserved.
