SEVENTY-FIVE MILES AN HOUR. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, May 31. Harronn won the motor race at Indianapolis, covering 500 miles in 6 hours 41 minutes. Mudford was second and Bruce Brown third. A crowd of 70,000 persons witnessed the finish. There was no fatality except the death of Dickson, who was flung out when his car skidded after the rim of the wheel had flown off. Dickson struck a fence and was killed instantly. There were several collisions, and the mechanicians were seriously injured.
