At'a meeting of their supporters Arnst was absent. Floyd, on his behalf, stated that the champion had been suddenly indisposed. He feared there was a return of his recent trouble. It was decided to postpone the signing. Arnst might be able to sign within a week, if everything turned out all right. Pearce was greatly disappointed.
