SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather summary and forecast are .is follows: —Gloomy and showery weather has been experienced in most parts of the country. The rivers are flooded on the West Coast of the South Island. The barometer has had a falling tendency, and moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, veering to southerly, with changeable and showery weather probable generally. The barometer is due to rise shorTly everywhere.
