PROGRESS OF REGISTRATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following registration figures have been officially supplied:—Totals registered to 20th May, territorials, 14,006; senior cadets, 24,067. Registered during week ending 27th May:—Wellington: Territorials 605, senior cadets 1108; Auckland, 474—540; Canterbury, 605 905; Otago, 472-673. Totals to 27th May: Territorials, 16.702; senior cadets, 27,893. Thus to the week ending 27th May, 44,655 have registered for the territorials and senior cadets. To this may be added the estimated total of 17,500 territorials and senior cadets at present serving, and who are registered on separate lists, making 62,155 accounted for. This leaves about 884 who must register before June 2 or Buffer penalties under the Act.
