ENTERTAINMENTS

THE BAND OF HOPE. Mr. H'. Okey, M.P., will preside at the first of the United Band of Hope gatherings on Thursday evening. The programme will consist of items in song, recitation and dialogue by members of the several Bands of Hope. There will also be a special series of pictures under the direction of Mr. G. H. Saunders, with whom the committee has made special arrangements. The Orchestral Union has kindly consented to contribute two overtures.
