WRECK OF THE ITZEHOE
NO HOPE OF SALVAGE. By Gable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 9.20 p.m. Sydney, May 30. The Underwriters' Association are advised that the German-Austrian liner, Itzehoe, which recently went ashore at Algoa Bay, is a total wreck. There is little hope of salvage.
The Itzehoe, which was bound for Australia, had on board a quantity of cargo salvaged from the steamer Aotea. which was wrecked near Capetown about a year ago while en route from London to New Zealand.
