Wellington, Tuesday.—Sailed, at 1.10 a.m., Star of Canada, for Brisbane. THE KOONYA. The Koonya left Wellington yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth and should arrive here about 10 o'clock this morning. Her cargo amounts to 585 tons, after discharging of which she proceeds to Westport and Greymouth. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, which is due here from Wellington, Picton and Nelson, will have about 200 tons of cargo to land here.
The Taviuni, which was relieving the Koonya for a time in the Bluff-New Ply-mouth-West Coast service, is being recommissioned for the Island trade, and will leave for the Islands this week.
The Himitangi will enter her new running from Lyttelton to the Chatham Island on Saturday. It is proposed for the present to establish a monthly service to the Chathams, but should trade warrant it during the summer months, a much more frequent time-table will be inaugurated.
