FROZEN MEAT. Wellington, May 27. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 20th iust:—"The market shows increased firmness for mutton, has improved for lamb, but is unchanged for beef." WOOL MARKET. Wellington, May 27. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house undej date 20th inst:— Wool—The sales closed with good competition; 103,000 bales were sold at the sales, 69,000 were taken for the Continent, 2000 were taken for America, and 38,000 were held over. As compared with last sales closing rates prices are about the same for coarse woured crossbred and coarse crossbred sliw; lower by about par to 5 per cent, fjor medium and inferior merino, fine scour«[ and fine greasy crossbred, fine and medium crossbred slipe and medium greasy and scoured crossbred; higher by "about par to 5 per cent, for coarse creaky crossbred.
