VALUABLE STOCK.
NEW IMPORTATIONS. By Telegraph.—Prpw Association Wellington, Last Night. A valuable consignment of blood stock in the shape of ten head of Lincoln red Shorthorn cattle and one purebred Shorthorn bull arrived from Liverpool by the Drayton Grange yesterday. They are all consigned to Mr. W. Taylor, of Greenhill, Te Awamutu, Waikato. The pick of the lot is the Shorthorn bull, "Blitehley Admiral," a two-year-old beast of massive c-arriage and very masculine head. Among the Lincoln reds is a fine young bull, "Brown Prince." Although quite a calf he weights about 18 cwt., and is an excellent specimen. The rost are Lincoln red heifers, all in calf to pedigree 3tock. They came from milking pedigree cows, and have been bought for Mr. Taylor by Mr. Edward 11. Cartwright, of Keddington Grange, South Lincolnshire. They were selected from the very best milking record herds under the charge of Mr. Alfred Whiteman, of the county of Durham. The cattle have stood the voyage well, and are in "ood condition. It is understood that their value runs into a very high figure.
